Slow Drains? Backed-up Drains? Sluggish Drains?

You’ve come to the right place!

If you experience a slow bathroom sink or bathtub drain line or stinky sewer smell from a bathroom drain, don’t hesitate to take care of the issue before it gets worse. Regular preventative maintenance is the best way to keep your sink drain and tub drain clean. It should start with keeping the countertop, sink, tub and faucet clean and free from debris. Remove the pop-up stopper or drain guard, clean out noticeable hair, debris and the stopper, rinse and replace. While you can’t eliminate using hand soap, face wash and toothpaste that creates build-up and residue in your drain lines over time, you can try to make sure you don’t wash hair, dental floss, bottle caps or other objects down the drain. And, if shaving over the bathroom sink, try using a paper towel over the drain to catch the hair and then dispose of it in the garbage.

You can use some home remedies for maintenance to help keep your bathroom drain lines clear. We suggest the vinegar and baking soda method be used quarterly. You can always use this method on tubs, showers and kitchen sinks. It’s safe and effective for all types of pipes.

  1. Remove the pop-up stopper cap.
  2. Pour one gallon of boiling water down the drain.
  3. Pour 8 Tablespoons (half cup) of baking soda and a half cup white distilled vinegar solution down the drain.
  4. Wait 20-30 minutes.
  5. Pour at least one gallon of boiling water down the drain again.
